I love the play of light, shadow, and color that I see so often in the world. Sunsets, storms, and silver linings are fascinating to me, and I love attempting to catch the visions of beauty that Mother Nature so generously shares. I also share living space with two felines, both of whom were 'born to pose.' While many people share the passion for photography, there is a certain irony in this being my 'hobby.' My visual acuity is very limited, to the extent that I am classified as 'legally blind.' What this actually means is that I'm very near-sighted, and what I am able to see and read and recognize from a distance of 20 feet, someone with normal vision would be able to see from 350 feet.
